Photos, Video: Crowd Gets 'In the Mood' at LML Big Band Concert
Residents gathered to hear New York's Most Dangerous Band perform at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library as part the Fall Concert Series.
Lindenhurst residents were In the Mood to hear some big band hits when they showed up to hear perform at the .
The concert was held at the library's Outdoor Performance Center as part of the library's Live at LML , and the weather cooperated with the band to give the audience a smooth experience over the course of two hours.
"I'm thrilled that we have such great weather....We're here out in the sun, and this band is something you're all really going to enjoy," Library Director Peter Ward told the crowd.

The concert was organized by Library Events Coordinator, Sara Fiorenzo. "They're a teriffic band, and we're very happy to have them here," she said.
The 18-piece band opened with Glenn Miller's In the Mood and ran the gamut of big band hits, as well as stayed true to its mix of swing, Santana, Sinatra and funk tunes.

The band's been together for more than 10 years, and was assembled by Edward deCorsia, producer and trombone player. He's performed with the West Islip Symphony, the Rockaway/Five Towns Symphony and other Long Island based orchestras.
The band, which has also put out a CD entitled We Came To Play!, makes its way around the Long Island circuit, and the library circuit, too. Next up are performances at Half Hollow Hills Library on November 13 and at West Babylon Public Library on December 10.
