• Suffolk Police Release Identity of Pedestrian Killed in Lindenhurst Hit-and-Run Incident (longisland.com) — A pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run while crossing Sunrise Highway at North Indiana Avenue in Lindenhurst early Tuesday morning, and police have now identified him as 56-year-old Erik Ermanovics. Detectives arrested 65-year-old Daniel Gomez at his home and charged him with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash involving a fatality, with arraignment held in Central Islip.
