Police Release Photo of Man Wanted For Deer Park Gas Station Robbery

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Deer Park gas station earlier this month.

According to police, the man pictured above (and seen in the surveillance footage below) entered Valero, located at 255 Bay Shore Road, displayed a handgun and stole money on May 5 at 10:50 p.m. The man was described as black, approximately 5-foot-10 and he was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with jeans and light brown work boots.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
