I see in todays' paper that Mr. Schaeffer borrowed $28,000,000 from the Garbage and Refuse fund to purchase property for renovation of Wyandanch. I would like to know why we have not received grants for our village to make us safer from the next big storm.
The end of my block looks just the same as it did during Sandy.
I checked with the Village and received no satisfaction.
Why has Long Beach received such extensive funds from the state. What about us. We pay taxes too.
