Video: Lindy Filmmaker Shows Film with Eric Roberts at LIIFE

Lindenhurst filmmaker Keith Oncale recently showed his new short film This Shining Night at the 2012 Long Island International Film Expo in Bellmore.

Although the film was shot in Connecticut, the preparation and casting was all done in Lindenhurst. The Lindy filmmaker said it was great to be able to show it on Long Island.

Oncale was able to recruit actor to star in the film. takes on the role of a gay parent partnered with Actor Kevin Brown, who plays Dot Com on the NBC sitcom Thirty Rock.

Oncale said what drew Roberts to the movie was the script and the challenge of playing a non-traditional, Eric Roberts-type of role.

With LIIFE now ended This Shining Night will be making the rounds in several more film festivals this year.
