Where Are The Worst Potholes In Lindenhurst?

LINDENHURST, NY - The snow may be melted but it's leaving behind an even bigger nuisance -- potholes.

Big and small, deep and shallow — potholes can still cause some serious damage.

We asked on the Lindenhurst Patch Facebook page where the worst potholes in town are.

Here were some of the responses we got:

• Charles Street
• Route 109
• Wellwood Avenue and New York Avenue
• Rite Aid parking lot
• East shore Road and McKinley Avenue
• Buffalo Avenue

Potholes on Lindenhurst Village roads can be reported by calling (631) 957-7520.

For roads in the Town of Babylon, all complaints regarding potholes should be reported to Citizen Services, (631) 957-TOWN (8696). Reports should include the location of the pothole such as the street address and the cross street name and/or intersection, as well as the complainant's name, address and phone number.
