Woman Struck, Killed in Hit-and-Run in N. Lindenhurst
Crash occurred early Friday, police say.

A 22-year-old woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in North Lindenhurst early Friday morning, police said.
According to police, Christina Ramdas, of North Amityville, was in the westbound lane of Route 109, east of Wellwood Avenue, when she was struck by a westbound vehicle at about 3:30 a.m.
Ramdas, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. The vehicle fled the scene and the investigation is continuing, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash or has any information about the incident to contact the Vehicular Crime Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
