• Locust Valley Central School District's $100M Budget Fails (patch.com) — Locust Valley Central School District voters have rejected a proposed $100.25 million 2026–27 budget that included a 2.1% tax levy increase, triggering a June 16 revote process. While the budget failed, residents approved a transportation policy expansion that preserves and broadens busing at no extra district cost, and elected three trustees to the Board of Education.
