America...Lock and Load!

If you have children or grandkids in school you must feel as if they are in Iraq or Afghanistan these days. The anxiety these kids must endure going to class every day, "Will it happen here?" There are probably many "potentials" among the school throngs that get sideways glances.

More American children were killed in their schools than American troops killed around the globe this year.

These are gruesome statistics.

Trying to educate our children safely is like fighting the Taliban. And the danger is right here, right in our school’s hallways and classrooms, but with the perpetrators eating pop tarts or ham and eggs right across our breakfast tables.

Of course there are many sides to this horrendous issue that must be considered, I won’t dwell on them here, you know them to well.

But whichever side of the gun issue you stand I think we can all agree, enough is enough.
