Annual Fundraiser In Long Beach To Support Law Enforcement Families
The Saturday afternoon event is $65 per person.

LONG BEACH, NY — An annual fundraiser is being held on Saturday to assist law enforcement families who have been impacted by serious injury or line-of-duty death.
"We are forever indebted to our first responders, and we must remember their sacrifices while protecting our communities," Town of Hempstead Supervisor Don Clavin.
The event takes place at The Inn in Long Beach.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used by the organization to host affected law enforcement families for a special weekend getaway. Tickets for the event can be purchased at LEOWeekend.com/fundraiser.
Councilman Chris Carini, a retired NYPD, MTA and Port Authority Police Officer, said: "Law Enforcement Officers Weekend understands the hardships faced by many law enforcement families, and their efforts in providing an escape for tragedy-stricken families is inspiring."

The 3-6 p.m. event will feature live music from popular local band Ready In 10, as well as a special performance by the Port Authority Pipes & Drums Band. There will be an open bar, appetizers, live auction and raffles.
Tickets are $65 per person.
