Are you watching the April crocus sprout in February? Are you wearing sandals to the market?
It’s a weird February before us. Crocus is six inches tall in front of our building. Parking in Long Beach on weekends is getting like Memorial Day. I saw a thong, no a throng on our boardwalk Sunday that looked like the 4th of July!
Everyone cheers, the sun feels good, it’s great to get some warmth on the bod.
But you might have heard about the guy who fell off the top of a hundred story building. As he was passing the fiftieth floor window he was heard to say, “So far, so good.”

That might be the case here. It does seem like we are in a perilous state, no, not New York State, but a state of denial.
