The Best Thing About Long Beach? The Beach, Of Course.

We asked Long Beach residents what their favorite thing about their town was, and many answered. And unsurprisingly, the best thing about Long Beach is the beach.

There were many different aspects about the beach that residents said they loved — the water, the surf, the air, the view — but it all comes down to Long Beach's great beaches being one of the things residents love most.

Coming in second for residents was, also not much of a surprise, the boardwalk. Barrier Island residents love their iconic boardwalk.

"The beautiful Boardwalk, the Brilliant ocean," one person wrote. "True beauty in its form every day regardless what season."

There were many other things that residents also loved about their city: the people were high on the list, as was the fresh air and the many different restaurants the city has to offer.
