Canvas by the Sea

I and many of you are bounding from boardwalk to sand camera in hand.

Our planks, wet with rain, are a fantastic mood setter for many shots. The wet sand reflects the colors of the sunset for shots that blow the mind.

Yes, we all know that. But did you know that more and more our little seaside city is becoming the “set” for many filmmakers?

That’s right, Long Beach is attracting TV and big screen producers to seek out our scenic offerings. And the current heavy construction, with all its noise and dust is not slowing the demand down.

I've been witness to a lot of it lately.
