Charity Group Holds Annual Long Beach Holiday Fundraiser

LONG BEACH, NY — A charity event returns to help local families who are in need of financial support.

The Long Beach Christmas Angel's 22nd Annual Holiday Fundraiser is set for Fri., Dec. 9 at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park.

The Long Beach Christmas Angel has a direct relationship with social workers from the Long Beach School District. Since starting the fundraising more than two decades ago, Long Beach Christmas Angel has distributed more than $2.6 million in financial assistance.

Individual tickets are $155 per person, although a reduced ticket price of $75 is available for young adults.
