22nd Annual Irish Day Parade and Festival

Join the Ancient Order of Hibernians Long Beach Division 17 for the 22nd annual Irish Day parade and festival in the West End of Long Beach on Oct. 1. This is a chance for local residents, both Irish and non-Irish, to celebrate the rich heritage of the area.

The day will begin with mass at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Island Park, followed by a traditional Irish breakfast at the VFW post on West Park Avenue at 10 a.m. The parade will start at 12 p.m., which will begin at West Park Avenue and Washington Boulevard and continue down West Beech Street in the West End.

After the parade there will be Irish concessions, food, games, rides and more along West Beech Street. Local bars will also host live bands.
