Hewlett Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund presents a Night of Comedy Fundraiser.
Featuring Dinner, Music, Songs by Sal Armao, Dancing and the Comedy of Richie Byrne & Tyler Gildin.
Richie Byrne is a long-time veteran of stage, screen and stand-up. Aside from working comedy venues around the world, Richie has also had television appearances on Comedy Central, VH1 and “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” He is also an accomplished actor and singer with a long resume of theatrical and television credits including “Sex & the City”, “The Sopranos” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”. Richie can also be seen in the indy film “Goodbye Baby.” He also writes, produces and stars in his own musical variety series “The Richie Byrne Show,” which can be seen at various venues around New York City. Currently Richie is the warmup comic for “The Dr. Oz Show.” Don’t miss your chance to see this very funny man in action!

Tyler Gildin has had the privilege of opening for Damon Wayans, DL Hughley, and Dean Edwards. This past summer, he headlined at the Brokerage and Carolines on Broadway. Tyler has performed stand up all over New York City in clubs such as Carolines, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club, and STANDUP NY. Last summer Tyler released a YouTube video titled “Nassau (County) State of Mind”, parodying his hometown in Nassau County, that went viral, gaining over 1 million views. Tyler is a recent graduate from Syracuse University and before that, a graduate of our own Hewlett-Woodmere School District!
