Nicholson will perform a selection of pieces from the Romantic era, including works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Beethoven and Bach-Busoni. The pieces were chosen for their lyricism and elegance. Deniswas awarded first place in the 2010 Victor Norman Concerto Competition, which gave him the opportunity to perform the Mendelssohn 1st Piano Concerto with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Youth Orchestra.
