The Long Beach Public Library will host the "Homegrown String Band" on Sunday, Apr. 3 at 2 p.m. This band is made up of four members of the Jackofsky family, who play nine string instruments, including guitar, banjo and many more. The family sings and also performs traditional American step dancing. The music is original and traditional folk.
