The Long Beach Waterfront Warriors is an organization that helps wounded, ill and injured soldiers. Over the past three years, the organization has provided from rest and relaxation to these soldiers and their families, who come to Long Beach for an expense paid vacation. They are treated to accommodations, recreational activities and much more. Volunteers work year round to raise the funds needed to support the project.
“The Long Beach community has come through for us again this year, helping to raise funds for meals, transportation and activities, as well as opening their homes to soldiers and their family members,” said LBWW co-chair Gerry Snell in a press release.
