The Long Beach Public Library will hold a screening of Silk Stockings (1957, NR, 117 mins) on Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. This movie follows a young woman, who is also a communist, when she travels to Paris to pick up some fellow Russians. In the midst of this trip, she begins to lean towards capitalist ways. Starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse.
