Schumann, Chopin and Charlie Chaplin at the Long Beach Public Library

The Long Island Piano Duo Yelena

& Vladimir Polezhayev will present

a concert program Schumann,

Chopin, and Charlie Chaplin. 2010

is the 200-year birthday anniversary

of two great romantic composers,

Robert Schumann and Frederic Chopin. Their works,

along with works by other popular composers, will

be featured in the program. The Long Island piano

duo, one-piano 4-hands or two-pianos, was founded

by the accomplished pianists Yelena and Vladmir

Polezhayev. Having met at the St. Petersburg Conservatory,

Russia, they have performed numerous times

in Europe, Canada and the United States.
