For the summer of 2011, the City of Long Beach has instituted a surfing pilot program at West End beaches. Surfing is allowed at New York Beach (NY to Arizona) during the week of June 20 to 24.
The surf schedule is subject to change with no notice. Surfers must pay admission to Ocean Beach Park and are subject to all rules and regulations.
