Grand Opening Fit to be Martial Arts and Fitness Center
On April 9th, local MMA veteran Fernando Perez will cut the ribbon on his new training facility, Fit to be Thai, at 67 High Street in Danvers Massachusetts. A fighter with 20 fights, and skills sharpened by high-level training and high-intensity wars, Perez will now be bringing his experience and knowledge of kickboxing, MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the public.
The facility is large, well maintained, and filled to the brim with some of the best strength and conditioning/training equipment a gym can have. Fit to be Thai will house a full MMA cage, wrestling mats for a grappling area, plenty of heavy bags for striking training, a large monkey bar area so you can play while you work, and a strength and conditioning and weight lifting section of the gym where patrons can improve their physical fitness on their own or in small group classes.

The gym will offer Muay Thai, Gi and No Gi Jiu Jitsu, Cardio Kickboxing, Wrestling, Strength and Conditioning and various boot camps. In fact, Fit to Be Thai gives customers of all levels of athleticism and fitness a chance to push themselves to the next level and improve their health in an encouraging, friendly and team-oriented atmosphere where the improvement of the customer is always the main focus of the coaching staff.
For those interested in potentially competing in the growing sport of Mixed Martial Arts, Fit to be Thai is proud to be affiliated with Team Flo Jiu-Jitsu and Team EVT – Elias Vale Tudo, giving students and customers access to one of the best Jiu-Jitsu programs in the area, as well as one of Boston’s top up and coming Mixed Martial Arts teams and coaches.

The grand opening ceremony will give the public the opportunity to try the classes out for free, and have access to the gym owners, coaches and affiliates for one on one discussions, where individuals can find answers for any questions, comments or concerns they may have.
