Freezing For a Good Cause

See pictures and videos from the annual Long Beach Polar Bear Plunge.

Hours before the Patriots and the Falcons faced off, thousands of people descended on Long Beach for the annual Polar Bear Plunge.

The Polar Bears dashed into the icy waters of the Atlantic in their summer best, all to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with terminal diseases.

This year, the plunge raised more than $300,000, which is added to the millions that have been raised over the years.
