LONG BEACH, NY — Lazar LaPenna, the 10-year-old who collapsed while playing little league in April, has a ball field named in his honor.

Malibu Beach Camp in Lido Beach, a regular summer retreat for the LaPenna family, named a new field that includes a number 9 as an homage to his uniform.

"It was so touching," his father, Gregg LaPenna, a guest on "Patch AM," said.
