We have so much to live for, so do others. Why do some of us risk their lives and the lives of others, needlessly?

These are trying times, for sure. But some of us do okay dealing with it. We get out and have as much fun as we can…safely. We think of ourselves as part of a whole, the whole of humankind. What hurts one hurts all.
We try to have each others back, we hold back on wild freedom so that others might not be threatened.
But not all of us feel that way.

I recently biked our Long Beach boardwalk in the evening and found displays of egregious flaunting of rules: not wearing masks, not keeping social distances.
But I also found much more evidence of people who get it. They do mind the rules and do have fun, a lot of fun. I captured this in many panning photos I’d like to share with you. Take a look the photos but take a look at the big picture too.
