Joy in the Puzzle of Life

In these times of rising tides, and ebbing incomes it’s good to know that some people work life’s puzzle to find their personal joy.

So many of us are caught up in the everyday busybusybusy trying to attain happiness through work or family or hobbies or sports, maybe even a sense of accomplishment, ( Yaaay, our team won ). But do we ever find real joy? Do we ever really know it?

Sometimes I think all we have to do is look at the pieces of life’s puzzle all around us and just help to bring them together. Some people call it supply and demand and make a profit in the connections. Yes, the American way, nothing wrong with that. But others find something a bit more lasting…joy. It’a about offering just a bit of ease to the life of another.

I found a lady who works as a synapse, joining the simple puzzle pieces of have and need around her. Sure, she does support herself to some degree in the process but she also acts as a happy conduit to bring haves and needs together in a nice fit.

Anyone reading this is actually such a puzzle piece, some have, some need, many of whom are adrift on life’s coffee table waiting to be placed…or not.
