Keeping a Sunny Day Sunny

If you trek our shore or boardwalk you often see teens and not-so teens climbing the jetties. Or jumping into the surf when no lifeguards are present. Often they make it home okay, rarely not. But it does happen.

There are so many ways to make fatal mistakes these days, with COVID-19 virus attacks, addictions, DWIs. The risks certainly don’t stand up to the consequences.

It doesn’t take much to take a life these days. And so much of it can be avoided. We have the rules, we have the laws. Maybe we need to use more persuasion.

This Sunday was a very sunny day. Who knew such darkness awaited?
