Long Beach FD Find Missing Swimmer

LONG BEACH, NY — Long Beach emergency responders report that they have located a swimmer who went missing earlier this afternoon.

According to the Long Beach Fire Department, the swimmer got into the water near New York Avenue and was dragged nine beaches to Minnesota Avenue, where they were able to get out of the water.

The fire department said the swimmer is doing fine.
