Long Beach To Hold Several Events For 9/11 Anniversary
A remembrance will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday paying tribute to the 3,000 victims.

LONG BEACH, NY — The city of Long Beach will mark the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a few events.
Throughout Sunday, Magnolia Pier will provide reflection with 21 torches and 21 American flags lining up the bay front.
The public is invited to join the quiet reflection and honor the victims and first responders who died with 1 World Trade Center as a backdrop.

It is open from 8 a.m to 9 p.m.
The Surfrider Foundation is holding its annual 9/11 Paddle Out. Participant will gather at 8:30 a.m. at Riverside Boulevard Beach. They hit the water at 9 a.m.

The city of Long Beach will hold a solemn ceremony in conjunction with the Long Beach Fire Department and the Joint Veterans Organization.
The remembrance will start at 5 p.m. on West Park Avenue at Lafayette Boulevard to honor the 3,000 people who died on Sept. 11, 2001 at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
