Long Beach Memorial Day Parade Set For Monday

The parade steps off promptly at 10 a.m. and will march down Park Avenue.

The City of Long Beach's annual Memorial Day parade will step off at 10 a.m. sharp on Monday and march through the streets of the city to honor local veterans.

The parade starts at the intersection of Ohio Avenue and West Beech Street, then marches north to Park Avenue, then east to the viewing stand near City Hall.

This year’s Grand Marshall is Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Steele. Steele is a lifelong military serviceman and respected Long Beach resident. He is being honored for his decades of service to his country and for his dedicated support of the country's troops.
