Long Beach Police Make Nearly 20 Arrests

Susan Ackerman, 68, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 20 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

Robert E. Virella, 49, of Mineola, was arrested on Magnolia Boulevard on Aug. 21 and charged with DWI.

Terrance L. Griffin, 55, of Long Beach, was arrested on a Nassau County District Court Bench Warrant on Aug. 21.

Randall R. Baird, 57, of lOng Beach, was arrested on Aug. 22 and charged with petty larceny.

Jaromir Kubacka, 53, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 22 and charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Jonathan D. Habib, 34, of Island Park, was arrested on Aug. 23 and charged with driving with a suspended license, speeding, license violation and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Peter J. Loney, 32, of Glen Oaks, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.

Josephine C. Hjardemaal, 22, of East Elmhurst, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Josue M. Pierre-Louis, 28, of the Bronx, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Nissim Aryeh, 26, of New York City, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with possession of alcohol on Ocean Beach Park.

Fred Smith, Jr., 35, of Roosevelt, was arrested on Aug. 24 on an active Long Beach City Court arrest warrant.

Barry Coleman, 61, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with petty larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and an active Long Beach City Court arrest warrant.

Richard C. Suarez, 52, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 25 and charged with disorderly conduct.

Bogdan A. Teodoru, 32, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 25 and charged with driving with a revoked license, DWI with two previous convictions within 10 years, aggravated DWI with two priors and DWI with three prior convictions within three years.

Jeffery D. Hampton, 55, of Long Beach, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Lino A. Medina, 64, of Long Beach, was arrested o Aug. 26 and charged with criminal trespassing.

Lawrence William Schembri, 21, of Farmingdale, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with DWI.

Shakira Platts Rodriguez, 21, of Jersey City, New Jersey, was arrested on Aug. 27 and charged with disorderly conduct.
