Long Beach Reopens Boardwalk To Cyclists
The city had previously limited the hours that bicyclers could be on the boardwalk. Now they can ride at any time.

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach announced that, starting today, regular biking hours would resume on the boardwalk.
After the boardwalk reopened, biking on the boardwalk was only permitted from sunrise until 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to dusk.
Now, bicycle riders will be allowed on the boardwalk at any hour, Monday through Friday. There will still be some restrictions, though. Bicycles will be prohibited on the weekends and on holidays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. That includes this Friday, July 3.

Though the boardwalk is open, there are still some restrictions in place. Everyone on the boardwalk must wear a mask, and must maintain social distancing.
