Long Beach Waters Closed To Swimmers
Strong currents and big waves have made the water too dangerous for swimming.

Long Beach's Chief Lifeguard, Paul Gillespie, announced on Wednesday that all of the city's beaches were closed to swimmers.
Gillespie said that the size of the waves and strong rip currents made the water too dangerous for swimming. However, the beach itself is still open.
It's possible that the waters can reopen later in the day if anything changes.
