Long Beach's Annual Electric Light Parade Steps Off Saturday Night

Get ready for the holidays to come marching down the street, because Long Beach will be holding the 4th Annual Electric Light Parade on Saturday.

The City of Long Beach, along with the West End Merchants and the West End Neighbors, will be holding the unique parade on Dec. 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. Antique cars, fire trucks, floats and bicycles will be wrapped in Christmas lights for this festive holiday parade.

Awards will be given to the most festive in all categories. Restaurants will be offering specials and kids activities after the parade. Hot Chocolate will be served throughout the parade route.

Parking will be available at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School, located at 735 West Broadway. The parade begins on Ohio Avenue Avenue and will head East on Beech Street to New York Avenue.
