LSD, Cocaine, MDMA Found During Atlantic Beach Traffic Stop: Police
Metal brass knuckles and a black leather bag containing what officers believe to be cocaine were found in the Jeep, police say.
ATLANTIC BEACH, NY — Four people were arrested on drug charges Friday morning in Atlantic Beach, Nassau police said.
Officers stopped a 2018 Jeep Wrangler near the intersection of Park and streets for several traffic infractions around 12:35 a.m., police said. Officers saw a switchblade knife being tossed by the driver, Jessica Cruz, 25, of Valley Stream, while front seat passenger, Johnathan Faneytt, 29, of Valley Stream tried to hide something under his seat, police said.
Reggie Kelleher, 19, of Rockville Centre and Jessica Herrador, 25, of Baldwin, were both in the backseat of the vehicle, police said.

Police found multiple packages of what is believed to be LSD, cocaine and MDMA from Cruz's purse, along with metal brass knuckles and what is believed to be cocaine under the front passenger’s seat, police said. Officers also found a black leather bag in the Jeep containing what is believed to be cocaine, police said.
All four occupants were arrested and each charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Cruz was additionally charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and multiple vehicle traffic law infractions.
Faneytt was additionally charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
All four defendants were scheduled to be arraigned on Friday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
