Only the Bold Build Bridges

You’re used to me offering you stories and photos about Long Beach life, be it on our boardwalk, beach or streets. Sometimes I use lofty terms to describe anything from breaching whales to the birth of oystercatchers.

But there are serious issues, life and death issues, that I need to speak about. Issues I hope I can add some information and perspective upon, maybe some of it new to you.

I’ve given much thought to the issues of police/community stress, as no doubt have most of you. You likely have fallen into opposing groups on the issues. That’s understandable, we all find ourselves in “tribes” of one kind or another and we feel we have good reason to be on that side. We think we see things very clearly from our side.

I hope my humble words can give you an opportunity to see the other side a little bit better too.
