Polar Bears Plunge Returns To Long Beach
The cold weather tradition is set for Feb. 6.

LONG BEACH, NY — If the cold air isn't cold enough for you, how about some cold water?
The Long Island Polar Bears will hold their annual plunge in Long Beach.
It is set for Feb. 6 and the public can enter on the boardwalk at Laurelton Boulevard, a few blocks from the usual starting point.

The invigorating run into the Atlantic Ocean typically coincides with Super Bowl Sunday.
