Pups and Presence

Of course you can support whatever ideology suits you. But what to do after you make your thoughtful support known?

Do you sit and stew, worry about the future, take minutes off your life with each tense breath that you draw?

Maybe all you you need to do is to look close around you, to those who matter, even beings you share this planet with that have no names, the gliding gulls, the diving terns, skittering sandpipers...yes they matter. So too does life of any kind that shares this plane with you.

Some of you may be blessed with a life-being whom you consider a pet. Maybe watch them more closely, learn from them. They don’t think about bombs, climate change or twitter twaddle...or even about eternity.

I took a close look at a lovable being right next to me recently. She did more than anything on TV has done of late. She relaxed me, put a smile on my face, taught me something:
