Register Now for the Town of Hempstead Triathlon

Register now for the annual Town of Hempstead Triathlon, which is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 10.

The triathlon is an exciting combination of a 3/4 mile ocean swim, 10-mile bike ride and 5-mile run. It is a late-summer tradition and one of Long Island's signature athletic events.

The race kicks off at 8 a.m., and is limited to 300 participants. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 2. Registration forms are now available online by clicking here or by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to:

The registration fee is $48.50 for residents, $72.50 for non-residents, $24.25 for resident seniors and veterans. Payable by check or money order made out to "Town of Hempstead."
