Remembering The 9/11 Victims From Long Beach

Three members of the FDNY from Long Beach were among the victims who died 20 years ago in the terrorist attacks.

LONG BEACH, NY — In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, the deadliest terror attack on American soil, Patch remembers the victims from Long Beach and neighboring communities. There were 281 Nassau County residents who died on 9/11, but that number was increased to 344 based on the length of time in their hometown.
