Residents Sound Off: Replacing Long Beach Bicycle

With Long Beach Bicycle closed and the property for sale, we asked residents what they would like to see fill the space. And boy, did we get a lot of great suggestions.

Suggestions ranged from everything from restaurants to activity centers, and even another bicycle shop.

Here are some of the best suggestions residents made:

• An activity space for special-needs adults
• An activity space for teens, like an arcade
• A unique coffee shop
• A (decent) restaurant for the East End
• Another bike store
• Bringing back the Cassandra variety store
