I cursed my phone's incessant, needless ringing. Then, I did something about it, but it didn't turn out well.

If you live in Long Beach or America or planet earth, you endure a constant telephonic poking at your peace. I disconnected my landline but didn’t take enough precautions for what might develop.
But that was just the start of my winter, roller coaster nightmare. It involved a family member calling for help in the night...and I did not answer.
It involved scary depressive depths followed by hopeful heights. It was a winter I'll never forget.

We all have health issues and family in varied degrees and numbers. We do what we can. But sometimes it seems we can’t find a way through the morass of health hurdles that confront us as we try to help a family member. Sometimes the morass causes us to have health hurdles of our own.
Let me share with you my own experience. Some of you may relate to it because a similar episode was in your life. Others may learn a thing or two.
