Sen. Kaminsky Sponsoring Thanksgiving Food Drive

To help make sure everyone has a happy holiday, Senator Todd Kaminsky is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Turkey/Food Drive to benefit families within the 9th Senate District.

Suggested donations include turkeys, gift cards, canned goods, instant potatoes and canned gravy. Donations will be accepted now through Nov. 23 at Senator Kaminsky's District Office, located at 55 Front Street in Rockville Centre. Pick-ups can be arranged by calling 516-766-8383.

"With Thanksgiving approaching, it is important to remember that there are local families who are unable to afford everything that goes into a traditional Thanksgiving meal," said Kaminsky. "We all have something to be thankful for, and I hope that with the community's help, we'll be able to provide our neighbors with a warm meal for the holiday."
