In the Starlight

It’s Christmas time…again. World peace didn’t arrive since last Christmas, can we hope for it…ever? Maybe we need a different perspective in our lives under a star.

I was recently waiting in beautiful Long Beach, NY for a light to change from red to green. And in that short span I realized I was sitting in another light…starlight.

My drive home along Long Beach's local streets, with starlight in mind, brought reality vividly into focus. My thoughts came with increased clarity about where I was, actually, were you and I are, and what’s going on around us…and around our troubled world

I looked at life with unfamiliar eyes, at existence in un-familial relief, of holiday warmth against pure physical existence.
