'Stranger Things' Event Comes To Long Beach

The Earth Arts store of Long Beach is bringing the upside down to the area for one night only.

LONG BEACH, NY — The Earth Arts of Long Beach is bringing the so-called "upside down" to real life.

The store is hosting a "Stranger Things Event Night Out" at its Park Avenue location Saturday night.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Admission is $10 and attendees can expect plenty of painting, refreshments, pottery painting and a full waffle bar, as well as "Stranger Things" themed treats and trivia. Prizes are also possible, according to its Facebook events page.

The third season of the hit Netflix show came out on July 4. Its first week on the streaming platform has been record breaking. According to a tweet from Netflix US, 40.7 million household accounts watched the show in its first four days, more than any other film or series ever.

Drop off at the Earth Arts of Long Beach is available for guests over 12. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to come in costume.

"Friends don't lie...it's going to be a pretty awesome time," reads the Facebook events page.
