A Sundae Kind of Love

Yes, it snows in winter. Yes, it's tough on many of us. But for others—not so much.

You’ve heard me talk about the wonders of spring and summer, even fall in little Long Beach town. But I haven’t said too much about our winter wonderland by the sea.

It’s so easy to look out the window of our high rises, our sand castle homes, our town houses and say, "Looks nice out there, what’s on Netflix?”

But to saddle up and ride into the wide white wonder of our shore is to be a kid again. Just don’t forget to pack your new eyes. New eyes are the way to see things with the wonder you had when you were a kid, to see the joy, the beauty in all around you—covered in bliss.
