My wife and I were looking to move to LB before the storm, and after the storm we thought it was in bad taste to purchase property at someone else's misfortune.
Now it's apparent that there are many people who simply can't afford to rebuild, or don't want to. We'd like to buy a heavily damaged property on the beach side in the west end. We plan on building a new raised beach house on the property. We are approved for a 203k loan, and can buy as-is without any worry about damage or mold.
