WATCH: Transformer Fire Causes Intense Light Show In Long Beach
The loud sparking lasted for a half hour until crews could arrive to turn it off.
A transformer fire in Long Beach Wednesday night created a very bright light show for nearby residents before the situation was under control.
A truck from the Long Beach Fire Department was at the scene to make sure people stayed a safe distance away. The sparking continued for about a half hour until PSEG crews arrived to take care of it.
No one was injured.
