We Remember...Our Pursuit of Happiness
Memorial Day. We have so much to be thankful for. But…

…let’s take a closer look.
First, we are a free people. No Nazi insignias on our buildings, no rising-sun-flag atop the Brooklyn bridge. And we have none to thank more than our fighting men and women.
Since the American revolution our defenders kept fighting to keep us free. And they continue today in the shifting alliances and shifting sands of the Middle East.

So what’s not to appreciate you say? The bigger picture.
Something is coming for us. Something has been coming for a long time. And like climate change it has been ignored.

It’s the loss of our American Dream. Things aren’t the way they are supposed to be in America, it’s not what we counted on. That’s just a fact. And it’s a problem. And it’s coming to head.
So, we’ll celebrate our freedom, as we damn sure should. And we’ll do the beer-and-burgers, as we damn sure should.
But as we remember our service men and women this weekend maybe we should remember how it used to be in America...and see how it’s going:
